About

About Our Dogs

Our dogs receive a quality diet, are raised in a sanitary, pleasant environment, and receive all necessary medical attention and preventative measures. Hips are x-rayed for any evidence of hip dysplasia and rated by the Orthopedic Foundation of America (OFA). Eyes are tested by an ophthalmologist and certified by Canine Eye Registration Foundation (CERF). Ethically, we believe that if a dog does not pass these tests or produces these or other genetically caused problems, it should not be used for breeding. We give all puppies their first and sometimes second vaccinations. ALL puppies and dogs are chipped. We want people who will commit seriously to their new family members. We insist people come HERE to pick out their dogs. We want them to meet the parents. See our kennel and see how our dogs behave. We believe the puppy or older dog picks the person or family. We sometimes have older puppies or adult dogs available for sale/adoption.

About Siberians

Our Siberians come from years of a well-established line of excellent temperaments. They are happy, affectionate dogs that love people and especially children. Puppies are born in the house and, from an early age, are carefully socialized by children and us. We feel this assures them becoming loving family companions. Siberians should maintain the purpose for which they were bred; they should be capable of pulling a sled. They are snow enthusiasts and ecstatic to do their job. You might enjoy “skijoring” with the dog pulling you on cross-country skis. This is a working dog that is happiest with a job to do.

If physical conformation is of very good quality, you may consider showing your dog in the dog show ring. Junior showmanship, obedience, agility courses, and working as therapy dogs are other great activities. Most important, Siberian love to be a part of a family. They will not want to be ignored. They can give you much joy hiking, jogging, or running beside your bicycle. They learn to become wonderful travelers and are happy to go on trips with the family.
